Where to search for a company in Vietnam

When you google search for a company in Vietnam, it might show results of many websites providing that company information. However, most websites are private-owned, with might be out-of-date information. The best way to obtain accurate and latest information about a Vietnam company is to check on the official government website.

Vietnam National Business Registration Portal is a website managed by Vietnam Ministry of Planning and Investment. The website will provide you with free information about enterprises in Vietnam, including:

• Name
• Activity status
• Enterprise code, aka tax code
• Legal type
• Establishment date
• List of legal representative(s)
• Head office address
• Business lines from VSIC lists

However, you would need to purchase the enterprise’s profile if you require:

• An electronic version of the enterprise registration certificate;
• Historical business registration in the last 3 years
• Data on capital contribution of the natural person to the enterprises.
• Report on the individual’s role: information on the list of businesses that the individual participated in establishing and managing within the last 3 years, along with the individual’s role in those businesses

Of note, Vietnam National Business Registration Portal does not provide information on these organizations, including: representative office of a foreign company, branch of foreign company, law office, public notary office, judicial examiner office, individual household business, NGO.

View free information about an enterprises

Step 4.

To view paid – information, click on PRODUCTS box and choose options

Fee is 20.000 VND or 150.000 VND (0,8 USD or 7 USD), which can be paid by VISA/MASTER cards

You can get the result via email after a few minutes upon completing the payment.
